The First Winter Blast of The Season

It took my friend Mark Distler, he of Save Our Wetlands fame, to point out that we didn't have any 'welcome' to the first big snow of the season. Mark was kind enough to take some frolicking pictures of his family as well as their friends from the Panagia family.
Ever the 'good daddy' Mark not only helped them with the makings of a decent snowman, he had them pose by their work of art. This was taken before Santa's arrival, an event the youngsters were eagerly awaiting.
This reminds www.ParamusPost.com of what families are about. It brings to mind a period long since gone where a group of neighbors in Ridge Ranch development used to get together along with their families. Sleds used to pour down one of the few safe hills for these young people; the smiling faces, the rosy cheeks and the enjoyment people got when Mother Nature helped make the family a viable unit!
Thank you Mark for bringing this to light!
