Learn How to Maximize Your Effectiveness as a Supervisor at Bergen Community College, March 13, 2009

Supervisors who are looking to enhance their management and leadership skills will benefit from a seminar presented by Bergen Community College's Division of Continuing Education, Corporate and Public Sector Training and the Bergen County Workforce Investment Board (WIB). The seminar "HR 101 for Managers and Supervisors" will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Technology Education Center, Room 128 (The Moses Family Meeting and Training Center) at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus. The event is free and open to the public. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
This presentation will provide supervisors with an understanding of the human resources legal system and offer suggestions about how managers can motivate their staff. If attendees already have the support of their Human Resources Department, then this program will help to reinforce existing structures and policies.
