The Paramus West Brook Middle School React Club visited the Dale Avenue School in Paterson on March 6th to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday. Reactors read stories from a collection of Dr. Seuss’s famous books to preschool and kindergarten students. Also, Reactors helped the children put together crafts and make a new hat for the Cat.
West Brook’s Flute choir under the direction of Ms. Ahrendt and Ms. Lee’s music students, conducted our “Horton Hears a Tune “ musical production and sing-a-long. Rousing renditions of the“ Wheels on the Bus” and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” were enthusiastically received.
During our “Snack with the Cat” every student received a goody bag, and enjoyed Oreo cookies and juice. Every boy and girl had their Cat nose and whiskers painted on their faces, and then took a picture with The Cat in the Hat and the Grinch.
