Residents of The Atrium, the supportive independent living senior residence at The Allendale Community for Mature Living, enjoyed a recent Cooking Class on a favorite food from the Far East: eggrolls. The seniors participated in a discussion and demonstration of how to make vegetarian eggrolls, as well as the tasty, banana-filled dessert eggrolls, a Filipino delicacy. Pictured during the class are (L-R): Jonathan and Cherry Picache of ComForcare Senior Services and Beth Stenftennegal, Atrium Activities Staff Member. Also pictured are Atrium residents Anna Lalka and Violet Trippodo.
The Atrium is located on the campus of The Allendale Community for Mature Living at 85 Harreton Road, off Route 17 South, in Allendale, N.J. For information about upcoming activities open to the public, please call Mary Stampleman at (201) 818-7979 or visit the web site www.allendalecommunity.com.
