Country Heart Meets Folk with "Robin and Linda Williams & Their Fine Group" at Bergen Community College, 5/1

Renowned country, bluegrass, and folk duo "Robin and Linda Williams & Their Fine Group" will perform at Bergen Community College on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus. Tickets for the show are $24 for adults and $22 for students and senior citizens (65+).

Robin and Linda Williams have delighted country music fans for over 20 years. At Bergen Community College, the husband/wife singer-songwriter duo will perform hits from their latest album, Radio Songs, featuring a collection of their show favorites. They are sure to thrill audiences with their modern twist to traditional bluegrass music, featuring Jim Watson on bass and Jimmy Gaudreau on mandolin. The couple are also frequently featured on the weekly National Public Radio hit show, "A Prairie Home Companion," and performed in the fictionalized movie that bears that same title, starring Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline and Lily Tomlin.
