Easter Sunday At Trinity
The Reverend Dr. Samuel M. Stone conducted the Easter Sunday services at the church located at 650 Pascack Road, Paramus before a capacity filled assemblage. Among the highlights of this holy service were the Bell Choir playing 'Lead On King Eternal' and an Easter Cantata performed by the church choir, both under the tutelage of Music Director Ms. Elena Waessa-Riabinina.
While both musical presentations were a pleasure to watch and to listen to, the cantata with the 7 women and 4 men choir was lively and uplifting. Intertwined were spoken words and songs.
The Sanctuary was decorated with flowers lending feeling to the sacred day. Among those donating these articles of beauty in remembrance were: Beth and Bob Canning, Roxanne Corbin, Karen and Al Daeschler, Kay and Mike Dennehy, Pat and Dolph Haug, Marilyn and Thord Johnson, Philip and Pui Law, Julia and Harold Mah, the Mah Family, Tom and Lucy Ott, Alice Sollerer, Harry and Annie Tsang and The Wadley Family.
The congregation was invited to retire to the Multi-purpose Room afterwards to partake of coffee, tea, juices, cakes and Fellowship. A special treat was Fillo Dough pastries obtained by Sophie Stone.
