The Paramus Board of Health wishes to remind all Borough residents that its annual free rabies clinic for dogs and cats will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 6th and May 7th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Wednesday will be for dogs and Thursday will be for cats. The clinic will be held at the Life Safety Building in the rear of the DPW municipal garage off Carlough Drive.
Borough Health Officer, John Hopper, stated that the three year vaccine will again be used, but that dogs or cats who are less than twelve months old and animals with no history of vaccination will require revaccination one year later. All dogs must be leashed and accompanied by an adult. Cats must be restrained in a carrying container.
