Ron's father started out making machinery for some of the products that Fillo sells. Ron kinda backed into the business while a teenager by working with his dad. After selling the machinery to the trade, Ron realized that by selling the food items that it would be beneficial. He gradually got into the food manufacturing business selling Fillo Dough, Pastry Shells and developing finished products like baklava, Kataii Rolls, bite size Fillo Tartlets, Strudels, Turnovers, Kourabiethes (Butter Almond Cookies), Spanakopita and Tyropita.
Today, Fillo offers a full variety of Organic and Natural foods. Available are gourmet appetizers, savory entrees, hearty chili, Greek Specialties, and delicious desserts. Their territory is a B to B route, Baltimore to Boston, and extending west into Pennsylvania with their own vehicles. Of course they ship all over the United States, the food is that much in demand!
