Bluegrass Award Grammy Winning Bruce Hornsby Performs at bergenPAC as part of the Summer Series

From smoky jazz lounges to the Top 40, thirteen-time Grammy nominee and three-time Grammy winner for Best Artist, Best Bluegrass Recording and Best Pop Instrumental Performance, Bruce Hornsby is coming to bergenPAC on July 30th as part of bergenPAC’s Summer Series. Hornsby is back on the road and performing his classics including, “End of Innocence”, “Mandolin Rain”, “The Way It Is”, and more.
With thirteen albums that have sold over 11 million copies, Bruce Hornsby is known as a collaborator in the music industry. He has played with many talents such as Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, Bob Seger, Stevie Nicks, Willie Nelson and more. In addition, Hornsby is a songwriter for Spike Lee’s films, and recently finished a documentary about Kobe Bryant.
Knowing what it takes to be a great American songwriter and performer and caring about the success of others, Hornsby launched a program at his alma mater, University of Miami, designed to develop the creative skills of talented young songwriters. Also, Hornsby recently collaborated with Steinway & Sons, American and German manufacturer of exclusive pianos, to help support the National Fair Housing Alliance, a non-profit organization that is the voice of fair housing.
