Trans-Europe Ultra Marathon by Jxrn Tomter

The Trans-Europe Ultra Marathon starts in Bari, Italy and finishes in North Cape, Norway. Runners cover the 4,485 km in 64 days running the full length of Europe. Jxrn was at the final stage in Norway on Sunday and captured the competitors as they arrived, exhausted, at the finish line.
Jxrn Tomter grew up in Norway, but moved to London in 1997 to study photograph. After graduation in 2000 he has been spending his time between Norway and London working for various international based clients. Tomter has a strong focus on personal projects and has done several solo exhibitions in London. He spent the last five years photographing high school celebrations known as Russ in his native country, which resulted in the book The Norwegian Way recently published by Generation Yacht. He now lives in Berlin with offices in London and Oslo.
