MS Center’s 12th Annual Golf & Tennis Invitational

I hope you're enjoying your summer as it's flying by! With that said, I'd like to update you on our upcoming golf & tennis outing.

Please join us for the MS Center’s 12thAnnual Golf & Tennis Invitational. We are thrilled to offer our guests tennis this year in addition to golf as another way to enjoy a wonderful afternoon at one of Bergen County’s premier, private country clubs. The outing will take place on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at the beautiful Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, NJ. We are actively pursuing participants, sponsorships and auction items. 100% of all monies raised will go directly to support MS Center patient care and research at Holy Name Hospital.

PGA Golf Pro, Brett Massingham and WPGA Pro-Am, Maggie Weder will once again serve as the Outing’s honorary Co-chairpersons. We are so grateful for their ongoing support of the MS Center. Brett and Maggie, who are both living with MS, will offer a group golf clinic at the event.

Our goal this year is to increase our sponsorships but we can't do it without your help. I hope you will consider joining us for a great day of golf & tennis. You can also help by simply forwarding this email to anyone who wants to support the important work of the MS Center - regardless of if they play golf or tennis. Every dollar makes such an impact on the lives of so many patients and their families.As you may already know, multiple sclerosis strikes in the prime of life - usually between the ages of 15 and 40 and is the most commonly diagnosed neurological disease in young adults. In fact, a person is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis every hour.

The MS Center at Holy Name Hospital is New Jersey's only state-licensed, nonprofit facility providing health care and related services exclusively for MS patients and their families. The MS Center provides care to all patients, regardless of ability to pay and is financed entirely through patient revenues, grants, contributions and special events. No one is ever turned away for lack of insurance. Your support of the MS Center, no matter how great or small, goes directly towards patient care and research.
