With over 13 years of professional experience in the entertainment business coupled with a passion to shock and frighten, Hollywood Special FX Artist, Anthony Giordano, has attained much insight as to what is needed to create a successful venture in the Haunted Attraction Industry. Anthony Giordano was born and raised in the Lodi/Garfield area of New Jersey. From the age of four he had a fascination with creepy and scary things. His first love was Halloween and haunted houses; his second, scaring the crap out of people!

At the age of 16, Anthony became an EMT and worked at the Boys & Girls Club of Lodi as a lifeguard and pool director. This was where he had the opportunity to create his first haunted attraction. This fund raiser for the Boys & Girls Club was such a success that he decided to pursue his love of scaring people full time with the hope of owning his own haunted attraction one day.

In 1995 Anthony went to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, receiving a degree in Industrial Design with an emphasis on special effects fabrication. While attending college, Anthony was involved in some of the most notable haunted attractions, such as the 1995 “Terrordome” at the Pittsburgh, PA Civic Arena (Produced by Academy Award winning special effects artist Robert Short); The 1996 Universal Studio's "Chamber of Chills" Attraction- where he was special effects and makeup supervisor; Slippery Rock University’s “Haunted Dorm” fund raiser - acting as their technical adviser and makeup effects artist; The Boardwalk Nightclub “Hayride of Fear” as Head Technician of special effects and Pyrotechnics.

Upon graduation, he returned to New Jersey and donated his time and talents to renew and update the haunted attraction at the Boys & Girls Club. He then went on to work as a Production Artist and Prop Fabricator on many commercials and music videos starring such megastars as Metallica, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliot, Johnny Cash, and numerous others. He also worked as a Model Maker and Sculptor at McFarlane Toys.

In 2001, Anthony moved to Los Angeles where he learned the ins and outs of the film industry. He has been involved in the production of multimillion dollar blockbuster Hollywood films; three, of which, are listed in the U.S. Top 500 grossing movies of all time - The Last Samurai, Scooby Doo 2, and Spider-Man 2. Other L.A projects and clients included NASA, Disney and Sony Pictures.

Moving back to New Jersey in 2003, Anthony began creating special effects and fabrication for some of the highest profile companies in the world, such as MTV, VH1, NBC, 50 Cents, Nascar, WWE, WD-40 and Centrum. Continuing his work on haunted attractions and special effects fabrication, he was instrumental in the creation, design, and management of a haunted attraction at De Piro's Farm Haunt in Montvale, NJ and was subsequently hired by a models and effects shop in 2004. Anthony is now in his sixth season working on Saturday Night Live.
