The Rufus Reid Trio Brings their Swinging Grooves and Ballads to Bergen Community College, October 11

The Rufus Reid Trio, a seasoned ensemble that will delight the audience with its musical eloquence and style, will perform at Bergen Community College on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 3 p.m. in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre. Tickets are $16 for adults and $14 for students, children and seniors (65+). The audience will be taken on a delightful musical outing when Rufus Reid, a forty-five year veteran bassist with over 350 recordings, takes the stage. He has won numerous recognitions and awards for his compositions, including a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship for composition in June 2008.
Mr. Reid is also a renowned educator. His book and DVD, "The Evolving Bassist," is recognized as the industry standard for definitive bass method.
