Ronald McDonald House Charities of the New York Tri-State Area (RHMC-NYTSA) recently awarded $5,750 to Children’s Aid and Family Services. This grant will be used for tutoring and academic enrichment activities for foster children in the agency’s care.
“The children in the agency’s care have a history of six to 10 different school placements by the time they come to us,” says Bob Jones, Ph.D., president & CEO of Children’s Aid and Family Services.
“Consequently, the vast majority are more than two years below grade level, and desperately need individual educational support. I am tremendously grateful for this generous grant from Ronald McDonald House Charities of the New York Tri-State Area, which will help us address this critical need.”
