A Night of Food, Wine and Fun

A Night of Food, Wine and Fun Braving torrential rain and flooded roads, nearly 200 supporters of Children’s Aid and Family Services attended the annual Wine and Food Tasting Evening on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at St. Leon’s Church in Fair Lawn, NJ. The programs supported by the event focus on infants and young children in the agency’s care. They include Baby Basics, which provides free nutritional formula and diapers to low-income families with children ages 2 and younger, and the Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center.

A Night of Food, Wine and Fun- Wine connoisseurs enjoyed a selection of fine wines, provided by Carlo Russo’s Wine & Spirit World in Ho-Ho-Kus. Additionally, Carlo Russo’s Wine & Spirit World will donate 20 percent of the proceeds of any of these wines purchased by November 7, 2009. Guests also savored delicacies from area restaurants, including The Best of Everything, Blue Moon, Bourbon BBQ, IBEW #164 Catering, La Strada Gourment, Oceanos and Rivara’s.
