Experience a night of mystery with “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940” at Bergen

“The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940,” a comedic murder mystery that will keep the audience guessing, will be performed at the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre at Bergen Community College, at the Paramus campus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4; Saturday, December 5; Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12. Matinees will be performed at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6 and Sunday, December 13.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $7 for students and seniors (65+) and are available by calling Bergen’s Office of Community and Cultural Affairs at (201) 447-7428 or visit them on the Web at www.bergen.edu.
The play, written by playwright John Bishop, tells the story of a creative team that has gathered to prepare for its new production at a Westchester estate. After the power goes out, the mayhem begins when masked figures suddenly appear and drag their victims behind swiveling bookcases. Despite the incompetence of a bumbling police inspector, the case is finally solved.
