During an economic downturn, Natalie McKenzie of Natobie Jewels brought together Minority Owned Business’s in Bergen County for a unique holiday shopping experience at The Woman’s Club of Englewood. The Holiday boutique was designed to give business’s the extra push that they needed during a holiday season when shoppers are only looking for deals. The event kicked off on Friday December 4th with a cocktail reception featuring a live performance by Old Tappan jazz vocalist Chelsea Palermo and Pianist Steve Mitchell. The event continued until Sunday, December 6th.
The three day long holiday shopping boutique donated a portion of the proceeds that were made to the Woman’s Club of Englewood and featured hors d’ oeuvres from Route 4 West Diner. The Business’s that were involved included Mint Vintage, Serenity Day Spa, Shatre Boutique, Lavish Spa Essentials and other retailers. This was a community involved fun filled weekend that brought lots of holiday cheer!!

About Woman’s Club of Englewood
The Woman’s Club of Englewood was founded in 1895. Many of Woman's Club members have been intertwined with the history of Englewood. In 1985 alone, seventeen women gathered to be a potent factor in the development of the community and to promote its well being through a program of philanthropy.
Over the years, Bergen Family Center was formed, as well as Englewood's Library, and the quarrying of the Palisades was stopped. Today, they offer a college scholarship helping eight young women every year, as well as contributing to numerous local charities.
