The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 164 recently collected more than $5,000 worth of new, unwrapped children’s gifts, including bicycles and games, to benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. John DeBouter (right), Local 164 training director and president, presented Marine Ivar Perez with the donations, which will be distributed to youngsters in need this holiday season who reside within the surrounding community.
The Toys for Tots campaign has special significance because it is an opportunity for Local 164 to support the local Marine Corps Reserve as well as those confronted by economic or health-related challenges at this time of year.
