At the next Master Gardener meeting, Janet Schulz, will be presenting a special interactive program on "The Garden in Winter - From the Inside Out".
For both novice and skilled gardeners, Winter is a wonderful time to reflect upon the garden, a chance to "see" the negative as well as positive aspects, and to review and plan for Spring time renovations and planting.
Janet Schulz, Master Gardener and horticultural lecturer, spent 40 years employed in the garden center industry. She is active in area garden clubs, the Tri-State Hosta, American Rock Garden and New England Primrose Societies. She has been a featured commentator on Home Time Cable TV and lectures at the Ridgewood Community School.
Janet's own garden in Wyckoff is regularly open to the public as part of The Garden Conservancy's Open Days and has been recently featured in the NY Times.
The presentation will held be on Tuesday January 26, 2010 at 7:30pm, at the Community Services Building, 327 East Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus. (across from Bergen Regional Medical Center). Meetings are open to all interested gardeners, free of charge, and refreshments are served, starting at 7pm.
