Doctors Express, an urgent care facility, held its opening on Saturday, January 16th. Located in a storefront building at 67 E. Ridgewood Avenue, they offer emergency services as well as other medical needs and they are open on Sunday! Owner Joe Castelano took www.ParamusPost.com on a tour of the state of the art medical facilities.A walk-in facility, one does not need an appointment. Doctors Express is geared to treat emergencies, sports injuries and minor surgical needs. Accepting most insurance coverages, they can handle business and occupational services.
Some of the areas on their list include colds, sore throats, fevers, nausea, back pain, headaches, physicals, infections, multi types of examinations, vaccines and health programs.
Dr. Robert W. Malizia, MD is the presiding physician. Well experienced in emergency work, he was brought up in Allendale and delighted to return to the area. Other members of the staff are: Jennifer Castelano, Administrator, Rachel Falduto, Imaging Services and Pamela Vaccari, Nurse Manager.
Hours at the facility are: Monday 8 AM – 10PM, Tuesday – Friday 8 AM – 8 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM – 6 PM.
