Bergen to Showcase Student Art Exhibition in Gallery Bergen, February 2

Experience the creative artwork of Bergen Community College’s students with a new exhibit “2010 Student Art Exhibition/Faculty Selects” at Gallery Bergen in West Hall on the College’s main campus in Paramus. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of student artwork consisting of paintings, drawings, photography, two-dimensional design, web design and animation that has been selected by the College’s faculty members from the Department of Visual Arts.
The opening reception will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gallery Bergen. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibition will continue through Tuesday, March 30, 2010.
Gallery Bergen’s scheduled times are as follows:
• Tuesdays - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Wednesdays - 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Thursdays - 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Fridays - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The exhibit will also be open on Saturday, February 13 and Saturday, March 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gallery Bergen will be closed from March 20 through March 27. A project of the Department of Visual Arts, the show was organized by Bergen Professor Andrea Geller Jablonski. Gallery Bergen, the 2,250 square foot art exhibition space is located on the third floor of West Hall, the College’s high-technology and arts building.
