February 20, 2010, Bloomingdale's Kitchen, The Shops at RiversideChef and owner, Ninamarie's of Ooh La La Catering and Events demonstrated a fresh and fun way of her cooking styles to the crowd. She started with the dessert, chilled basil infused poached fruit, followed by eggplant capanata and gremolata goat cheese panini. For the main course, you can taste hanger steak, golden sage jerusalem artichokes and fennel herb salad, sea scallop, arugula, raspberry and avocado salad. Glamour Water with ginger, cucumber and fresh mint refreshes you.
About Chef/Owner Ninamarie Bojekian
While attending Pace University in New York City for a Baccalaureate in Anthropology, Ninamarie discovered her hidden talent: cooking!
Chef Ninamarie understood the great connection between food and culture and knew that she had to pursue this art. After graduating from college she attended the French Culinary Institute in NYC, for classic culinary training.
Immediately following, she secured a management position for a high-end catering and event production company, then worked in top NYC restaurants, Aquavit and Mia Dona, under the direction of their acclaimed chefs.
Her career goal has always remained the same: to have her own catering company. Chef Ninamarie personally works with every client to ensure that they are receiving the best culinary treatment!
