The Stop & Shop Supermarkets, located at 175 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ and 859 North State Route 17, Paramus, New Jersey donated $1,600 to the Fairlawn Little League to sponsor their 2010 season. Every year, Stop & Shop supports Little League Teams from New Hampshire to New Jersey. The contribution from Stop & Shop supports the Little League by reducing registration fees to a minimum level, assists with the purchase of equipment and uniforms and maintenance of the playing field. The players are provided with a safe, positive environment that develops their qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being.
“Stop & Shop is dedicated being a good neighbor and supporting our local communities. Two of the areas that we focus on through our community outreach efforts are: Healthy Living (Nutrition, Exercise and Play) and Kids (K-12).
