Commercial Real Estate Veteran Laurence P. Casey Joins Cassidy Turley's New Jersey Offices

Cassidy Turley, a full-service commercial real estate firm providing strategic corporate real estate solutions to clients on a local and national level, is pleased to announce that Laurence P. Casey has joined the firm as a Senior Vice President in its Somerset, N.J., office.
“We are very pleased to have Larry join our company,” commented David Simon, SIOR, Chief Operating Officer for the New Jersey office of Cassidy Turley. “Larry’s extensive knowledge and experience in the transportation sector will benefit our existing clients and customers and expand our capabilities in this practice area.”

Immediately prior to joining Cassidy Turley, Casey was with Weintraub, Casey, Zurkow & Max, Inc. (WCZM), the New England/Mid-Atlantic member of the Transportation Property Network, a national network of real estate brokers who specialize in the trucking/transportation industry. He began his commercial real estate career at WCZM in 1982, and during his 28 years there, Casey has served as a principal, specializing in leasing and sales of truck terminals in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Casey’s clients include all major less-than-truckload motor freight carriers, as well as truckload, regional and local transporters. He has worked on regional expansions for several regional and national motor freight companies, a few of which include Con-Way Central Express, Inc.; A. Duie Pyle, Inc. and American Freightways/FedEx Freight East. He also has worked with various districts of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, valuating, marketing and negotiating the disposition of fee-owned- and leasehold-property portfolios for Branch Motor Express; Bonsco, Inc. (AAA Trucking Co.); Preston Trucking Co. and Consolidated Freightways, Inc., among others.
Additionally, he has coordinated and supervised teams on multi-state disposition projects for several regional and national banks and trucking companies. Investment firms, development companies and trucking companies have called upon his expertise with the trucking/transportation industry and terminal network logistics for consultation on site selection, feasibility studies, facility design and valuation analysis and disposition.
Casey graduated from Rutgers with a degree in economics in 1982 and lives in Monroe Township, N.J., with his wife and two children.
