New Bounce House Opens in Paramus!

BounceU recently opened in Paramus on Eisenhower Drive (off of Century Road). I was fortunate to have a day off during the week so I called this place to find out if they had any open play time. Lucky for me they had open play time that day from 4-5:30. So I took the kids. We got there about ten to four and they made us wait in the lobby area. They made everyone wait and then at 4 they had all the kids sit in front of this TV screen for an instructional safety video.
Cute in theory but I doubt my one and two year old understood the content. Then the staff led the kids into the bounce area. I have to say I was blown away when I first entered the bounce room. It was huge and there were several inflatables with slides and climbing walls. After about 40 minutes in that area they rounded up all of the kids again and opened another set of doors that led to another large room with even more inflatables. The kids had a blast- they absolutely loved this place.
It was about $8 a kid and I think it was well worth it. Even though I thought they would tinker out after about an hour, they managed to jump for the full hour and a half. The place is super clean (it did just open). The staff is also really nice. There is one staff member watching over each inflatable so they are there to help out if the child gets scared or stuck.
There were two negatives- the first is that the place is so big. Within one inflatable there can be several tunnels that lead to slides so it’s really easy to lose sight of your child especially when you have two running around. I lost Jojo a couple of times and while I knew he was inside of the bounce house, I have to say my heart skipped a couple of beats. The second negative is that the open play time is only weekdays from 4-5:30. Not a great schedule for a working Mom. Hopefully, they can consider some open play hours for the weekend- I would love to take advantage of this place more often.
BounceU is located on 70 Eisenhower Drive in Paramus.
