Sunrise Meeting 3-23-10
Lucy Janjigian, multimedia artist, chatted with the members of the Paramus Sunrise Rotary Club about her works. She explained that she was of Armenian descent but born in Jerusalem. Her paintings, for the most part, portray the hardships of the Armenian population as they attempted to leave their homes. It was somewhat similar to the exodus of the Jewish people from Egypt but they encountered both the hot searing desert and the freezing temperatures of snow.
