Bergen Chapter of New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners Hosts Networking Luncheon and Honoree Spotlight at Clinton Inn
TENAFLY, N.J., April 27, 2010 -- The Bergen chapter of New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) will hold its Network at Noon networking luncheon and honor its long-standing members on Tuesday, May 4 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at Palmer’s Crossing at the Clinton Inn Hotel, 145 Dean Drive in Tenafly, New Jersey. Area women business owners and professionals are welcome to attend and make new business connections. The chapter will spotlight those members who have been part of NJAWBO for 15 years or more.
The cost for the luncheon is $17 for NJAWBO members and $22 for non-members. Advance reservations are requested and can be made by contacting lunch coordinator Verena Aibel at lunch@njawbobergen.org or by calling the Bergen NJAWBO chapter hotline at (201) 444-8773, ext. 5. The event will be held in the restaurant’s private room.
“Because the Bergen chapter is one of the oldest in the organization, we are lucky to count among our members seven women who have been a part of NJAWBO for 15 years or more,” noted chapter President Amy Lewis. “We will celebrate their successes and contributions to NJAWBO, and welcome potential members to our event.” Members to be honored are Alyssa Lebovic, Barbara Greenberg, Kerry Monahan, Robin Altman, Dolcey Chaplin, Norma Tempel and Louise DiSclafani.
NJAWBO is the oldest statewide organization focused on the needs and concerns of women business owners. Established in 1978, its primary objective is to support and encourage business ownership by women by providing them with the tools to develop and grow their enterprises; it does so through networking, partnering, leadership, education and political advocacy.
