Kelly Dunnder of PulteGroup Named 'Marketing Director of the Year' at 2010 SAM Awards

During tenure as Marketing Director, Dunnder has effectively marketed the company's widely diverse consumer market segments
During her two-year tenure as Marketing Director with PulteGroup, Kelly Dunnder has been a great asset to the Metro NY/NJ Division of PulteGroup, leveraging her vast consumer, demographic, and geographic know-how to effectively market to the company's widely diverse consumer market segments.
On April 13, Dunnder was honored with one of the New Jersey Builders Association's highest honors during the 23rd Annual Sales and Marketing (SAM) Awards Gala. A two-year member of the PulteGroup staff, Dunnder was recognized with the SAM Award for "Marketing Director of the Year."
Held on April 13 at The Borgata Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J., the SAM Awards recognized the New Jersey real estate industry's most talented professionals in residential design and marketing in over 100 categories. Attended by hundreds of leading advertising, sales, marketing and homebuilding industry professionals, the event served as the kickoff to the 61st Annual Atlantic Builders Convention.
"Kelly is an energetic professional, widely regarded for her strategic and tactical marketing knowledge by the PulteGroup, sales personnel, her peers, and marketing partners," stated Paul Schneier, president of PulteGroup's Metro NY/NJ Division. "During her six years at PulteGroup, Kelly's strategic and analytical background has helped the company accomplish much during her tenure."
Beginning her career in the strategic marketing department of the Pulte Homes and Del Webb brands, Dunnder recently expanded her workload with the recent acquisition of Centex Homes, doubling PulteGroup's community count in the Metro New York/New Jersey market area. The PulteGroup family targets a large consumer segment, ranging from first time homebuyers to very affluent empty nesters.
Dunnder leads the marketing campaigns of PulteGroup's extraordinary enclaves in New Jersey, including the company's Pulte Homes, Centex and Del Webb communities.
In addition, Dunnder has been responsible for assisting in the sales department of the Metro New York/New Jersey Division in interviewing for the full-time position of Vice President of Sales.
Dunnder's most notable accomplishment was her ability to react to a 56 percent budget decrease for 2009, compared to the prior year. She managed to keep traffic relatively flat year over year, with a minute decrease of only one percent.
During her time at PulteGroup, Dunnder has also accomplished the following:
Developed and executed the Metro NY/NJ Division's marketing plan while setting and adhering to the overall marketing budget
• Applied innovate marketing and advertising strategies to increase brand recognition, customer lead generation, penetration and revenue
• Supervised and developed all in-house marketing materials (i.e. print advertisements, flyers, direct mail, internet banners, etc.) with the use of Illustrator and InDesign
• Received recognition by all media outlets as an in-house advertising agency, receiving a 15 percent savings
• Coordinated the entire public relations efforts with the outside public relations firm
• Provided the sales team with valuable resources, such as, competitive market analyses, resale data, and overall market demand information
• Followed and tracked the competition and adjusted to the homebuilding climate to remain competitive in all communities
• Provide insight to the overall strategic marketing plan set forth each year.
In addition to her SAM Award, Dunnder was recently honored at the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey's 2010 F.A.M.E. Awards celebration, which recognized builders, remodelers and associate members of the organization for their excellence in marketing accomplishments.

"Her problem-solving and follow-through capabilities demonstrated the ability to cohesively coordinate with internal and external teams that have lead to the continued success of the Metro New York/New Jersey Division."
