Musician George Benson Helped Celebrate Englewood Hospital Bloodless Med. & Surgery Program Anniversary

Patients who benefited from Englewood Hospital and Medical Center’s world-renowned bloodless medicine and surgery program joined physicians and other caregivers in an evening of celebration at the hospital on April 10 to mark the 15th anniversary of the hospital’s Institute for Patient Blood Management & Bloodless Medicine and Surgery. In one of the evening’s highlights, musician and eight-time GRAMMY®-award-winner George Benson, a former Institute patient, spoke about what the program means to him, thanked the Institute for 15 years of service and dedication to patients, and treated the audience to rousing musical numbers.
