Anthony & Sylvan Pools Offers a Number Tips to Safely Enjoy Your Pool
With summer fully underway, many homeowners are escaping the uncomfortable heat and humidity by relaxing in their backyard pools. Anthony & Sylvan Pools, the largest independent builder of in-ground concrete pools in the country would like to remind everyone to stay safe this summer by sharing a few pool safety tips.
“We are dedicated to producing high quality, environmentally-sound products, but above all else, we want our customers to be safe,” said Tom Casey, Vice President of Anthony & Sylvan Pools. “We suggest all swimmers take a few simple precautions to ensure they have a lifetime of enjoyable, pool-filled summers.”
Tips from Anthony & Sylvan include:
-- Never leave children unattended in or around a pool, even for a moment.
-- Remove all toys from the pool after swimming, and ensure they are properly stored.
-- Keep a Personal Flotation Device on hand.
-- Verify that all fences or barriers are up to code, sturdy and secure, and include self-closing, self-latching gates around the pool.
-- Make sure chairs, tables and other pieces of outdoor furniture are arranged so that children cannot climb over the enclosure fence.
-- Enroll family members who are unable to swim in instructional classes.
-- Get CPR Certified—it’s a valuable skill!
