For ticket information, please call (201) 493-3615 or email Jim Bumgardner, producer of Bergenstages, the College’s student theatre productions, at jbumgardner@bergen.edu.
“This production is a theatrical work in which the personalities of two brothers come to life through their passion, battles, joys and underlying appreciation of art,” said Ed Schiff, actor, director, playwright and founding artistic director of Apples & Oranges Productions, which is co-producing the play with the College. “The struggle of Van Gogh is presented in a fast-paced drama with humor.”
Bergen Community College student Brendan Walsh, of Lyndhurst, will star in the one-person play. Mr. Walsh has performed in other productions at the College including “War in Paramus,” “Kiss Me Kate” and “The 1940s Musical Comedy Murders.” A member of the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Walsh is enrolled at Bergen through the Post 9/11 Bill which provides up to 100 percent reimbursement of tuition and fees at public colleges and universities for eligible veterans.
Mr. Walsh won the Outstanding Actor Award at the Aery Theatre Play Festival at the Phillipstown Depot Theatre in Garrison, NY and starred in the performance “The Au Pair Man” at Shadow Lawn Summer Stage on the campus of Monmouth University this summer.
