Jones Lang LaSalle Expands Project and Development Services Division in New Jersey with Two New Hires

Addition of industry veterans Pope and Romney supports firm's growing service platform
Jones Lang LaSalle has hired two industry veterans to join its Project and Development Services (PDS) division in New Jersey. David Pope and Christopher Romney will serve as a Senior Project Managers providing project management services to both commercial real estate owners and tenants.
"The current market climate has spurred the growth of our PDS division, as both owners and tenants are increasingly turning to third-party project management service providers that have the expertise and resources necessary to oversee and execute a full range of project and development solutions," said Julio A. Villavicencio, head of Jones Lang LaSalle's PDS division in New Jersey. "We are pleased to have retained two of the industry's most talented project and development management experts to join our growing team."
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Pope, who brings 19 years of experience to the firm, served as a project executive, working on lease review, due diligence, budget development, tenant upgrades and office build-outs for clients. For Jones Lang LaSalle, he will be responsible for executing due diligence, project management and development services in New Jersey and the New York metropolitan areas.
An expert in project operations and cost analysis, Christopher Romney brings 30 years of experience to the team. He will be responsible for managing the development and construction of commercial, corporate, technical and industrial facilities in New Jersey.
Jones Lang LaSalle's Project and Development Services team includes more than 1,000 professionals In North America. PDS provides corporate and institutional clients with management of design, construction and relocation services to minimize risk and eliminate unnecessary cost. Project specialties include interior build-outs and base building construction on single tenant properties or large-scale multi-site portfolios. PDS manages over 2,300 projects annually, including $12 billion in project volume currently under management.
