The Bogota Racquet Club completed renovations close to half a million dollars and opened to the general public on Saturday September 7th ! Brand new surface (rebound Ace) shock absorption of 17% versus regular hard court surface which has 1%. Much easier on the body! The best lighting in the northeast! 125 candles compared to 35 candles at the average indoor tennis facility.
The Bogota Racquet Club will launch CourtSense which is an established Tennis Pro Training program known for training Tennis Star Christina Mchale who is the top ranked player in the world for her age group (18 yr) and has played in the 2009 and the 2010 US Open. Christina Mchale attended the ribbon cutting ceremony and was the first to hit courts in at the new state of the art facilities.

This tournament raised $475,000 to support breast cancer care facilities. At 2010 Western & Southern Financial Group Masters and Women's Open Christina has defeated Nadia Petrova in the first round (7–6, 5–3 ret.) and Ayumi Morita in the second (6–2, 6–4). She then lost in the third round to the eventual winner and former world No. 1 Kim Clijsters in straight sets (1–6, 1–6).
Christina McHale currently trains at the USTA Training Center in Carson,CA. At the age of 15, she left her home to train at the USTA Training Center headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida. When she is at home in New Jersey, she trains at the Tenafly Racquet Club with coach Carlos Cano, with whom she has trained since she was 13 and now will also train at The Bogota Racquet Club.
