The talented Colombian actor and Zumba instructor Walter Diaz "Wally" will come to Paramus, New Jersey on April 16 to share all his dazzling energy. Wally has participated in many productions in his acting career in his native Colombia, and many of his work have been aired on the main Spanish TV stations in the US and worldwide.
This charismatic actor, dancer and choreographer who was a presenter at the 2010 Zumba Convention with his specialty "Salsa and Merengue Mash Up" will also be part of the 2011 Convention in Orlando, Florida. The reviews from the participants could not be better. Wally engaged the audience with his knowledge and easy teaching style. Walter Diaz "Wally" is an actor, model and professional dancer since the age of 7. Being born in Cali, Colombia, the third largest city of Colombia and well-known for its rich musical roots, has been a determinant influence in Diaz throughout his career. Wally has worked with recognized Colombian artists such as the musician and actor Marcello Cezan, Jorge Cardenas and Carolina Sabino to name few. He has also been part of several Colombian productions, series and soap operas such as "Adrian esta de visita" (2001-2002) and Por que diablos? (1999-2000). Besides his acting career, Diaz has also been part of the fitness industry for 25 years. He began his journey in his native Colombia with RUMBA, and today he is the proud owner and face of Rumbamania Dance. Diaz has built a dance studio where he offeres different programs like Zumba. His most recent production titled "El Joe" is a Colombian production based on the life of the legendary Salsa singer Joe Arroyo. Walter Diaz interprets the role of "Piper Pimienta", another famous Colombian singer who was the dearest friend of Joe Arroyo. The serie is expected to air through the Univision's branch Telefutura in 2011. When he is not working on TV, he is teaching at his studio in Miami, Florida. He is married and has a child.
