The Stein Group Ranks in Top 25 of Sotheby's International Realty's Producers in Sales Volume Nationwide

Team Also Ranks Among Top 10 Producers in Sales Volume for NYC; Completes More than $50 Million in Transactions for 2010
The Stein Group of Sotheby's International Realty, led by Robin Stein and Jeremy Stein, and one of the most respected and successful real estate sales teams in Manhattan, announced today that the team has been named among Sotheby's Top 25 Producers in Sales Volume for 2010 Nationwide, and among the Top 10 Producers in Sales Volume for 2010 in New York.
"Our success all stems from our ability to accurately value properties, analyze the market and strategically price our clients' homes," stated The Stein Group's Robin Stein, a Senior Vice President with Sotheby's International Realty.
Sotheby's 2010 results showed strength throughout all of the markets with the company's 2010 total closed volume exceeding 2009 by more than 29 percent. The volume increase was driven by a 9 percent increase in closed sales and a 19 percent increase in closed average sales price. In total, the Top 25 Producers generated an impressive 31 percent increase in total sales volume.
Among The Stein Group's notable transactions from 2010 are:
• 1175 Park Avenue, 11C, an 11-bedroom Upper East Side cooperative apartment for which The Stein Group represented the seller and, with multiple bidders, sold the apartment for above the asking price at $6.05 million in a bidding war.
• 388 West Broadway, a three-bedroom, 2,948-square-foot SoHo loft for which The Stein Group represented the buyer in a bidding war and closed the listing at $3.95 million.
• 304 Union Street in Brooklyn, a Cobble Hill four-story, single-family townhouse for which The Stein Group represented the buyer and closed at $3.25 million.
• 114 East 10th Street, a Greenwich Village six-story, two-family townhouse for which The Stein Group represented the seller and closed at $5 million in a bidding war.
