Master Baker Sarah Black created a new offering, Fougasse! It is a traditional French bread decorated to please the eye as well as the palate. Light and airy, it is formed with dough similar to focaccia and has special toppings of tarragon-infused olive oil, Tarragon and Rock Salt. Our foodie, co-publisher Sophie Stone tried this different bread and was well pleased.
Packaged in a visual covering, fougasse can be served directly from the package or reheated for a few minutes. The price is minimal: $3.49 and is available at the bakery department. It is an unusual gift!
