Newark, NJ (June 14th 2011) —Paul Bensabat and Alan Bankier, Co-CEO’s of The Manischewitz Company, the leader in kosher specialty foods for over 120 years, today announced that an official Ribbon Cutting Event will take place on June 14th at its new Corporate Headquarters, now located in the Manischewitz 200,000 square foot state-of-the-art, manufacturing facility in Newark, New Jersey.

he ceremony will include a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and a Mayoral Proclamation reading, and will be attended by several honored guests including the Mayor of Newark, The Honorable Cory Booker, the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yona Metzger, National Manischewitz Cook-Off Winner Stuart Davis, as well as many other dignitaries and community leaders. The event will also include a unique demonstration of the plants capabilities; the production of the World’s Longest Matzo (nearly 25 foot long and over 25 pounds), which will be documented by the Guinness Book of World Records.

This move paved the way for the introduction of new products like Tam Tam Crackers, Chicken Soup, Broth, Noodles and Gefilte Fish.
