Former Councilman Frank Ciambrone and Council Candidate Pat Verile trained vigorously for the rigorous 26.2 mile marathon in Washington, DC. This dynamic due ran side by side through the streets of Paramus and nearby towns to train for this, the fourth largest marathon in the United States. Rated high among long distance runners, it requires grueling training and a strong mindset to enter and complete this tortuous race. Just to finish is an accomplishment. They finished!
Each runner picked a cause: Pat Verile chose Hope For Warriors while Frank Ciambrone opted for The American Cancer Society.
