Paramus Sunrise Rotary Holiday Party At Boomerangs

Boomerangs The Rotarians came to Boomerangs unaware of the food and management. They left sated and full of camaraderie. They had met Daryl and Gina, management. Once the food had arrived, family style, oohs and aahs were heard as the food was tasted. The Caribbean and Soul food treatment was savored.
Upon entering this storefront restaurant near to CVS, it appeared to be very small. Walking past the kitchen window, one saw more tables and stairs leading upstairs where the Paramus Sunrise Rotary Holiday Party was being held. On hand to greet us were President Gary Spivak and Bea, his wife, as well as Rotarian Trevor Albertine. Soon after the other Rotary members arrived and we settled down to a delicious repast.
Starting with soup of the day, Boom Boom Salad followed and after that, served family style as well were: Oxtails, Boomerang’s Famous Jerk Chicken and Talapia accompanied by Brown Rice with Beans and White Rice. Our dessert was a homemade cake with icing and all. Of course coffee, tea and sodas and a special Sorrel Splash were available.
The group then had a gift exchange which created excitement. Two boxes of chocolates from Hanna Krause on Route 17 South didn’t last too long once the recipients opened them up and offered them to the group.
Boomerangs, located at 136 Main Street, is available for takeout or home and office delivery with a reasonable minimum order. Just phone 201 880 5951 to place your order in advance or to find out what the daily specials are.
As someone who does restaurant reviews, I would highly recommend Boomerangs!
