Habitat Bergen Board Member Celebrates 50th Birthday Running NYC Half Marathon

Neal Klausner, Vice President of Habitat Bergen’s Board of Directors, and a dedicated supporter has decided to celebrate his milestone birthday in a BIG way. Within a short 2-week period, he’ll be running a full marathon and a half marathon to publicize the mission of the local non-profit. On March 4th at the New Orleans Marathon followed closely by March 18th at the NYC Half Marathon, Neal will be pounding the pavement to support the elimination of poverty housing in Bergen County. Way to go, Neal! Happy 50th!

Become a Habitat Bergen Hero just like Neal. Plan to join him and the other Habitat Bergen runners on March 18, 2012 for the NYC Half-Marathon. Applications are being accepted now for runners. To sign up, register at www.habitatbergen.org. Deadline for registration is February 24, 2012. In addition to running the race, each runner pledges to obtain $1000 in donations for Habitat Bergen’s future building projects.
