The Android Smartphone for the Rest of Us

--- Some reasons why you should consider the LG Lucid as your next smart phone.
The smartphone world is full of competition all centered around convincing you, their phone is the fastest, the slimmest or the most advanced. However, many of these phones fall short in one glaring way or another. Meet the LG Lucid. It is a low cost entry level phone designed to open your eyes to the world of affordable smart phones.
The LG Lucid doesn't tout the worlds largest screen, or the worlds fastest processor, or even the slimmest design. The beauty of this phone is that it has a great screen, and a great process. The phone is both wonderfully pocketable and nice in the hands. It is like the well rounded player that keeps the whole team together.
Heres some reasons to consider this perfectly balanced phone.
$80USD now gets you a 4G LTE equipped phone. On the fourth generation network, this phone can take advantage of the high speed, the web pages load faster than my Verizon iPhone 4S! Shop around and it could land in your pocket for free.
The LG is great for those on a short budget but it's not short on features. It has all that you would expect from a standard phone. From Youtube, Twitter, Netflix, the Kindle store to the Google Play app store. It has it all. The phone runs a very stable version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and I have noticed it crashes alot less than the newer Ice Cream Sandwich phones. The LG Lucid can also use its Verizon 4G signal to create a wireless hotspot for up to 5 devices. Making it both a family vacation friendly phone and a great work device.
3. Good Looks
The Lucid has some features that place it out side of it's price bracket. Things that you normally only see in phones that costs a significant measure more. This includes a 4.0" IPS, Gorilla Glass display. This means that the display has a large veiwing radius and it also has the protective measure of Corning's patanted Gorilla glass material. This material not only makes the phone attractive but it also creates an all black front that can almost double as a mirror in the day time. The back is curved to fit the grip of your hand. A feature forgotten by manufacturers focused on boxy phones.
It is impressive that LG was able to pack all of these features in such a small package. Its specifications really make sure of all the great Verizon services. The home screen has a friendly layout with large icons and the application selection page is well segmented so that the Verizon apps do not mix with your other games and utilities. These and other small modifications made to the phone's otherwise standard Android OS makes it a viable first smart phone for the technophobic.
Overall, I am impressed. There is rarely anything important to say about entry level phones. They normally get few words and have even fewer features. With the LG lucid this is not the case. Strapped with its features and Verizon's latest 4G LTE services, this combination is hard to beat. Bargain hunters and smart buyers, this is the ONE!
