SpareOne, the world’s only emergency mobile phone powered by a single AA battery, today announces its designation as an International CES Innovations 2013 Design and Engineering Awards winner. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media, to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 29 product categories, including two new categories added for 2013; SpareOne was named winner in the new “Tech for a Better World” category.
SpareOne, designed to be an ultimate safety and communication device, provides up to 15 years of battery life when stored unused (off, with plastic tab inserted) or 10 hours of talk time when in use. We’re very proud of the first-of-its-kind technology we’ve worked to develop, and it’s a great honor to be named among the CES Innovations winners this year.”
