Proceeds from the Gala Fundraiser and Silent Auction will support local programs and services and fund research for the causes, treatments and prevention of Alzheimer's disease.
The Greater New Jersey Chapter estimates there are at least 350,000 individuals and families living with this disease in New Jersey. The non-profit organization also expects this number to increase dramatically in the next several decades as the Baby Boomer population ages.
Developed in stages beginning in 1967, The Allendale Community pioneered modern-day eldercare and remains true to its founding roots as a private physician-owned and operated senior campus. Today, The Community includes four full-service senior residences that offer a continuum of care, should a resident’s needs change: The Atrium Assisted Living; Carlton Court, a memory care neighborhood; The Allendale Nursing Home; and The Rehabilitation Center at The Allendale Community.
“This is a truly momentous celebration for the Allendale Community, which has successfully kept pace with – and established new benchmarks within – the ever-evolving field of eldercare during the past 45 years,” said Jolanta Giancarlo, Vice President of The Allendale Community and Chairwoman of the Alzheimer’s Gala Fundraiser event. “In keeping with our commitment to contribute our experience, skills and knowledge to the greater good of the community, we are partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to support their efforts to combat dementia-related illnesses.”
All donations are tax-deductable and sponsorship opportunities are available. For more information, please contact Mary Stampleman at (201) 818-7979.
