SherWeb Introduces New Co-Branded Distributor Program; Extends Relationship with Ingram Micro to North America

SherWeb, an award-winning provider of premium cloud services including Microsoft Hosted Exchange, SharePoint, and Lync, and serving more than 3,000 partners in 50 di¬fferent countries, yesterday introduced its new co-branded distribution model to Ingram Micro resellers in the U.S. and Canada. The new model complements SherWeb’s current white label reseller program.
Widely considered as a channel advocate and technology innovator, SherWeb says its new co-branded model addresses the number-one need identified when speaking to partners: customer support.

Under SherWeb’s new distribution model, resellers no longer have to shoulder the cost, burden and responsibility of providing migration assistance and technical support. Instead, once service is established, end-clients will contact SherWeb’s technical support directly.
“Our research shows that many solution providers, MSPs and VARs are reluctant to enter the cloud because of the cost and effort involved in providing technical support to the end-client,” says Mathieu Leblanc, SherWeb’s Strategic Partner Director. “With our new distributor model, SherWeb partners can leverage our relationship with Ingram Micro to provide our world-renowned brand and services under their own banner while our experienced technicians provide support to the end-client.”
Leblanc also points out that resellers adhering to the distributor program will receive the same margins as white label partners.
“One of the most common requests we hear from our partners is for support in the provisioning of new cloud services, and SherWeb is proactively addressing that barrier to entry with this integrated offering through Ingram Micro,” says Jason Bystrak, director of sales, services, Ingram Micro North America. “In 2013, demand for cloud services including hosted Exchange will continue to rise and present a consistent revenue stream for channel partners. Working with vendors that accelerate the adoption of those cloud services, as well as easing adoption for both end users and our partners, is essential for taking advantage of that opportunity,” he concluded.
