By participating in the National Red Ribbon Week activities, students pledge to live a drug-free life, something that is taken very seriously at West Brook.
On Wednesday, October 25th, the goal was to have as many students and staff members dressed in red. By grade level, the students formed a symbolic red ribbon on the basketball courts while eight grade teacher, Mr. Mazzo, courageously volunteered to climb onto a bucket truck for an aerial photograph. This was an uplifting experience for the entire school community.
Participation in this activity solidified a strong visual image from our school reminding us of the importance of avoiding drugs and alcohol.
