The Atrium at The Allendale Community for Mature Living Hosts Winter Happenings in December

Featured Events Include Holiday Music Concerts and Movie Series

ALLENDALE, N.J., Nov. 26, 2012 – The Atrium Assisted Living at The Allendale Community for Mature Living will present a variety of musical performances and a film series this holiday season. Each of the following programs is free and open to public:

• Sat., Dec. 1 – A winter violin recital will be presented by students of the Locola Music Studio based in Oradell. Thirteen students, ages 4 to 15 years old, will be performing at 2 p.m. in the Lounge.
• Thurs., Dec. 6 & 20 – Rev. Donald Sheehan from Guardian Angel Church will present a movie series entitled, “Catholic Faith Series” in the Atrium Cinema at 1:30 p.m.
• Sat., Dec. 8 – Back by popular demand, the local a cappella quartet MoodSwings will perform a mix of “doo-wop” songs from the 1950s at 2 p.m. in the Lounge
• Sun., Dec. 9 – The St. Luke’s Youth Group from St. Luke’s Church in Ho-Ho-Kus will be performing Christmas Carols at 6:30 p.m. in the Lounge.
• Fri., Dec. 14 – Forty music students from Woodcliff Lake Middle School will be performing at 10 a.m. in the Lobby.
• Sat., Dec. 15 – A holiday concert showcasing the talent of The Fine Tuners, a youth string orchestra from Bergen County, will be performing a diverse repertoire of classical, pop, folk, bluegrass, Broadway, and jazz at 2 p.m. in the Lobby.
• Mon., Dec. 17 – Cookies and caroling with Brownie Troop # 5468 from Washington Township will begin at 3:30 p.m.
• Thurs., Dec. 27 – The public is invited to a spellbinding piano concert by renowned performer Nina Deutsch at 2 p.m. in the Lobby.

The Allendale Community for Mature Living is located at 85 Harreton Road, on 12 suburban acres in Allendale, N.J. The campus is easily accessible via Route 17 South with private driveway access.
