After a soft opening a few weeks ago, Bahama Breeze at the Bergen Town Center had an official opening with Mayor Rich LaBarbiera cutting the ribbon. Present were members of the Paramus Chamber of Commerce and officials and staff from Bahama Breeze. Darden Manage of Media and Communications Hunter Robinson came up from Darden headquarters in Orlando, Florida for this special event. Also present were Darden Director of Operations Rick Sell and Bahama Breeze General Manager John Brown.
One of the features that accompanied the Grand Opening was a check for $12,000.00 presented to local Boys and Girls Clubs of America. This is an indication of a Paramus business that wants to get involved. Mayor LaBarbiera praised them for their civic mindedness. He is proud of businesses in Paramus that give back to the community. He is also extremely proud in Paramus: He takes Pride in Paramus!
After the ceremony, Bahama Breeze, always gracious and hospitable, had a reserved section for the visiting dignitaries and the press. They served some of their specialty dishes, buffet style, and were available to explain each and every exotic dish and accompanying sauce.
Bahama Breeze should do very well in Paramus with the warm attitude that was displayed!
