Former Mayor of Englewood Introduces UK Chief Rabbi: Lecture Packs it in: Tri State Draw

Former mayor of Englewood Michael Wildes and his brother Rabbi Mark Wildes , the Founder of the Manhattan Jewish Experience hosted the UK’s Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks at the Seventeenth Annual Ruth B. Wildes Memorial Hazkara lecture series in NYC at the Jewish Center on West 86th Street. Over 500 people were in attendance.

The Rabbi drew a tremendous crowd from the Tri-State area and lectured on “ Jewish pride in a an Age of Multiculturalism”. Lord Sacks is due to retire from his distinguished post at the end of the year and is an author of 24 internationally acclaimed books. The lecture series is an annual event hosted by both the former mayor and rabbi in honor of their mother Ruth B. Wildes and has featured many distinguished scholars.
