The Garden State Harmonica Club Holds Two Meetings In February

The Garden State Harmonica Club will hold our two monthly meetings/open mic on February 4th and 18th at 7:30 PM. All are welcome to join us in Room 103 at the Community Church at 354 Rock Road in Glen Rock. Please enter via the parking lot at Hamilton Avenue and go to the second building on the right. The church is handicapped accessible. Business meetings and playing at "Open Mic"
are held regularly on the first Monday of each month, with an informal second meeting taking place on the third Monday.
The Club invites anyone interested in the harmonica or harmonica music to join the group to play or listen. Light refreshments are available to attendees during the meeting. Among the celebrity members are Frank Grova (member of The Melody Men); Carlos Colina (& The Straight Up Blues Band); Charlie Toker (Daddy T) and the 17 North Band; Enrico Granafei of Trumpets Jazz Club; Dennis Gruenling , teacher and well known blues player; Harry Feinberg, famous member of the Harmonica Rascals; Gary Mettler, performer and teacher; Rob Paparozzi, harmonicist and former lead singer of Blood, Sweat and Tears; George Miklas, former Harmonicat and member of The HarpBeats and Jay Gaunt,17-year-old, talented blues player.
The Garden State Harmonica Club Ensemble can be booked to play for groups at a nominal rate. They entertain at retirement and veterans’
homes, churches, clubs, assisted living centers, civic groups, libraries, private parties, etc., several times a month.
The Garden State Harmonica Club was founded in 1971 to promote the enjoyment of the harmonica. Anyone with similar interests is invited to meetings for their pleasure.
