Sena Technologies, Inc., a Bluetooth® innovator in the motorcycle and outdoor activities market, has partnered with A1 Racing to attend the Progressive® International Motorcycle Show with a full range of Sena products including two all-new devices, the sleek SMH10R ultra slim Bluetooth headset/intercom and the SMH5-FM featuring a built-in FM radio tuner, as well as the Bell Mag-9 Sena helmet January 18-19, 2013 in New York at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
The Bell Mag-9 Sena helmet is an open-face helmet that has been designed to specifically accommodate Sena’s flagship headset, the SMH10 , a Bluetooth stereo headset communications system. The Mag-9 Sena is the first helmet to offer an integrated docking system, allowing for easy attachment of the SMH10. The SMH10R is an ultra-slim and aerodynamic Bluetooth headset/intercom incorporating the same software features of the SMH10 headset. The SMH5-FM allows users to wirelessly tune in to their favorite FM radio stations, in addition to talking with other riders or passengers in full duplex via intercom while connecting wirelessly and hands-free to one’s cell phone, GPS and mp3 player.
“The Progressive® International Motorcycle Show is the world’s largest touring motorcycle show,” said Marc Woo, President of North and South America Operation. “With all of our new products being introduced and demonstrated at the show, we feel it is extremely beneficial to be in front of such an important audience.”
Attendees of the three-day Progressive® International Motorcycle Show in New York will get to test the entire line of Sena Bluetooth headset/intercom systems. The interactive experience allows attendees to try on a helmet outfitted with Sena headsets as well as the Mag-9 Sena helmet, find out how they work, discover their ease of use, talk to a friend via intercom and more.
Other products being featured include the recently introduced SPH10H, a Bluetooth headset/intercom system designed specifically for half-helmet users and the SM10 Bluetooth Dual Streaming Audio Transmitter allowing a rider and passenger to listen to the same audio from one source. Users are able to operate nearly all of Sena’s functions using the headset/intercom systems’ easy to use jog dial, which eliminates the need to search for hard-to-find and small function buttons with gloved hands.
Sena Technologies invites all New York Progressive® International Motorcycle Show attendees and media to check out the interactive display booth and test the full line of motorcycle helmet accessories. Sena Technologies representatives will be present for demonstrations and questions. The New York show opens its doors Friday, January 18 and runs through Sunday, January 20.
